Leighton Meester, an American actress, model, and musician, is an multi-talented talent. Her most well-known role is her role as 'Blair Waldorf' in the tv drama "Gossip Girl." Leighton Meester started her career as a kid. She appeared on a stage in the town she grew up in productions of 'The Wizard of Oz'. This led to her interest in acting. Her first jobs were as a model and in commercials. In her modelling assignments she worked with big brands, such as "Herbal Essences,"" "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. Although she started her profession as a model she later branched out into acting too. Her first acting role came with the series 'Law & Order'.
