MadisonMadison Elle Beer from Long Island, New York was an early music enthusiast. She started making videos in 2012 of her singing renditions of popular songs. Justin Bieber, the pop idol, discovered her cover of Etta Jam's "At Last", and shared it with his 25+ million Twitter followers. The publicity led to her signing a recording contract with Island Records, and then the signing of a management contract with Bieber's manager. Beer also appeared in a small part in Louder Than Words (starring David Duchovny) which premiered at the festival in 2013. The debut single she released"Melodies," her melismatic and poppy song "Melodies," also saw release in the middle of the year.Beer's vocals began appearing on the songs of other artists including Cody Simpson's "Valentine" and the 2015 club track "I Will Not Let You Walk Away" by Mako. She eventually issued her solo debut EP"As She Wants," in 2018. The lead single "Home with You", which climbed to the Top 30 in Norway, was also a huge success. The album made it to the top 10 on the Billboard 200. The year before, Beer issued the non-album single "Hurts Like Hell" featuring Offset.
